Distance Education at FHCHS

You’ll participate in all required activities via a state-of-the-art online learning system, supplemented with e-mail and online discussion groups between professors and students. Video and interactive presentations, manuals and documentation supplement this, allowing you to integrate your course work into your daily professional activities. Unique to online education, you will have multiple mentors assisting you with course work, provide on-going feedback, and guide you through the program.

What Our Students Are Saying

“I’m really glad I did the online route as opposed to sitting in the classroom. You don’t have to drive to and from class. You can study anytime, anywhere you want. Many times I studied in my pajamas in my bedroom at my leisure.” — Leah, BSN Student

Regionally Accredited

Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) to award Certificates, Associate, Baccalaureate, and Master’s degrees. The Baccalaureate degree nursing program is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.

Regional accreditation is the primary type of institutional accreditation in the United States. Some institutions with online programs hold national accreditation rather than regional accreditation because they are unwilling or unable to meet the rigorous standards of regional accreditation. Many educational institutions holding regional accreditation do not recognize credits or degrees earned at institutions that are nationally accredited. This is an important distinction if you plan on transferring credits from one college or university to another during your degree program, or if you plan to pursue advanced degrees at other colleges or universities.

Quality

Built on a solid foundation of over 80 years of health care education, Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences is rooted in tradition and excellence. The commitment of faculty and support staff ensures students the highest level of learning. Student graduation rates are among the best in the industry and our alumni work in the most respected institutions in America.

Cost

Tuition cost is up to 40% less than competitor programs. FHCHS is a not-for-profit college that believes in making superior education available and affordable to all students.

Convenience

Learn completely at a distance and earn your degree without traveling to a campus. You will benefit from a higher level of interaction with faculty and peers than students in a traditional campus-based program. Whether you choose to study during the day or at night, our online programs are designed to work within your busy schedule. Students agree that they have more faculty support within the online “virtual” classroom of this program than experienced in on-campus classrooms.
