Whether it’s creative writing, video games, digital video, art and design, web technology, or the business behind music and entertainment, Full Sail uses the experience and knowledge gained from more than three decades of educational innovation to create an unparalleled online education experience that challenges and inspires our students.
Learning at Full Sail has always centered around interaction and the exchange of ideas, and our online curriculum fully embraces this philosophy. We have developed our own online learning environment with the aim of being the most people-focused education experience on the web. Through Full Sail’s online programs, students get:
Through Project LaunchBox™, students receive a MacBook Pro pre-equipped with professional software at a deep institutional discount. The Mac serves as a personal workstation, allowing students to work and create wherever they are, and comes equipped with a video camera, microphone, and media creation tools to allow for convenient face-to-face collaboration between classmates and instructors.
Each program has an advisory board comprised of working professionals who continually update Full Sail on the needs of their industry. Since Full Sail courses are offered on a monthly basis, each program’s curriculum can stay up-to-date with advances in the real world.
Real-World Opportunities Students work within project-based curricula, which can mean doing branding work for a local business, building useable game assets, promoting and managing a band, or launching an Internet marketing company. The goal is for students to graduate with real work that can be presented to a potential employer.
