Google Plus – Is Google Taking Over the World?

This infographic helps to put into perspective the power that Google has when they go after things.  This came about because of the more recent release of Google Plus to see how it compared to Facebook.  It compares things like search engines, browsers, and video hosting.

  • It’s a completely idiotic comparison. Google already had a HUGE user base and market share when it launched Google+. Facebook was starting from scratch.

  • Facebook built on MySpace. Google+ is building on Facebook and avoiding mistakes that other social media sites have made in the past.

  • @Chris, it is like apples to oranges. It just illustrates the power that Google has. I think it illustrates more how hard Facebook had to work to do get where it’s at, and how Google shouldn’t fail at anything. Look at Google Wave though, what happened there?
